About Us
WHO WE SERVE
White Center Heights PTA is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers who participate in activities to build community and improve students' experiences at the school. We have partnered with various community organizations to serve our students in the most successful way possible.
Everyone is welcome in our space and encouraged to participate and support however they can.

Our History
We were formed to address the needs of our White Center Heights community during COVID and remain in place to support the ongoing needs of our families.
We want the Family Resource Center to be a safe and comfortable place for families to gather, learn from each other, and know they have a community here. When we care for each other, the world is better.
Our Vision
Basic needs such as food, diapers, and clothes are a right for everyone in our country.
The White Center Heights Family Resource Center (WCHFRC) is a meaningful and impactful location where ALL White Center families can receive basic needs such as job searches, technology support, language support, childcare searches, and rental assistance in their home language.
The Family Resource Center is where you can find what you need for your family and make a friend along the way.
Our Mission
Our Inspiration
After COVID-19, a few concerned White Center Heights Elementary employees and family members saw how many of our families were struggling to find necessities for their children, such as food, shoes, toiletries, and clothes.
We converted one of the old portables into a Resource Center and started receiving donations from caring neighbors and staff. We designed a well-organized location with many volunteer hours to find what you need to succeed.
We partnered with amazing organizations like the White Center Food Bank and WestSide Baby to secure fresh produce and diaper donations. We started an Amazon Wishlist and always have live DonorsChoose projects up and running in hopes that the help continues to come.
